“Every big journey starts with a small step. For us, it began back in 2021 at a humble place called Mourighat, Dang. At that time, SMS Dairy wasn’t even an idea—it was just a hope. We didn’t have a big team, big machines, or a fleet of delivery vehicles. We had just one thing: a dream.
And one farmer. Her name is Doma Oli. She was the only person delivering fresh milk to individual homes around Mourighat. We saw her dedication, her honesty, and the purity of the milk she brought each morning. One day, we simply asked her—“Would you be willing to bring your milk to our dairy?” She said yes.
That’s how SMS Dairy truly began—with just 3 liters of milk. No big launch, no big noise—just a quiet start with a big heart.
From that small collection, we started building. Slowly, more farmers joined us. More families began trusting our milk. And step by step, we grew—not just in quantity, but in connection. Today, SMS Dairy is proud to serve both our rural producers and urban customers, creating a bridge between two beautiful worlds.
But we will never forget where we started. And we will always be thankful to Doma Oli, our very first farmer, and to every single person who believed in us when we were nothing but a name and a dream.
